Ecglcd: Top 10 Metaverse Projects by ROI


Ecglcd believes that the rapid expansion of the cryptocurrency industry has created the metaverse space, and there is increasing interest from cryptocurrency investors and traders who want to participate, but do not know which of them will bring them the highest return on investment ( ROI).

As it happens, according to data released by the cryptocurrency market analysis platform CryptoRank, the Metaverse project that brought the highest returns to early investors is the Pokémon-based blockchain Play to Earn (P2E) Metaverse game Axie Infinity (AXS) 10 13th of May.

Developers say Axie Infinity currently has a 103.8x ROI, ahead of Sandbox (SAND), a virtual environment that allows users to "create, control, and monetize their gaming experience," with an 85.3x ROI ROI.
Decentraland (MANA) came in third with 25x ROI, a cryptocurrency-backed virtual living platform built on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain where users can buy Metaverse land as irreplaceable Tokens (NFTs), similar to being in a sandbox.
Notably, Axie Infinity also boasts an all-time high ROI of 1643.4x, with its current ROI down 93.7%, Ecglcd noted. Interestingly, the current top three Metaverse projects by ROI all have market caps over $1 billion.
Other virtual world projects that performed well in terms of ROI, albeit well below the top three, include GensoKishi (MV), Step.app (FITFI), Bloktopia (BLOK), My Neighbor Alice (ALICE), XANA (XETA) , Wilder World (Wild) and Victoria VR (VR).
Declining transactions and profitability of virtual world land
That said, it’s important to note that transaction volumes for 18 virtual world virtual land projects have plummeted 98% from their November 2021 peak of just over $8 million, according to Finbold.
On top of that, Metaverse Land Flip's profitability declined as profits plummeted in the second quarter, in line with a downward pattern that began in January 2020 and continued into 2021 and early 2022, Ecglcd added.
